Empower citizens to actively participate in the democratic process
In 2020, Darkenu founded Democrat TV as a platform to amplify the voices of moderates and inspire the vision of a better Israel. During the upcoming election season, it will continue to be a trusted independent source for balanced, in-depth reporting and a driving force for critical public dialogue. The platform has established itself as a significant, independent voice championing democracy, liberal values, human and civic rights, shared society, and peace. By addressing the nation’s most pressing challenges and fostering diverse perspectives, the platform has reinforced its mission to promote democracy and strengthen social cohesion.
In 2020, Darkenu also started a campaign to boost voter turnout. Over 4,500 volunteers participated, encouraging voting in their neighborhood, while another 120 people helped grow the campaign by making thousands of phone
calls and organizing activities in the streets. They will be expanding and deepening that effort in up-coming Knesset elections.

Their Vision
Darkenu works to strengthen Israel’s democratic and Zionist character. The moderate majority movement believes that the State of Israel is Jewish, democratic, liberal, egalitarian, and operates in the spirit of the values of the Declaration of Independence.
