Each of the departments of the Movement for Quality Government in Israel will bring its full range of capabilities to assure a free and fair Knesset election in 2026. MQG’s legal department is one of the most active public interest litigation teams in Israel. They file petitions to the Supreme Court, administrative courts, and oversight bodies to block unconstitutional legislation, prevent political appointments that violate legal norms, and protect the independence of state institutions. During this year, these capabilities will also work to assure adherence to election law and individual political rights.
Since its inception, the Movement for Quality Government's activism wing has spearheaded numerous demonstrations and protests nationwide. Noteworthy protests include the Balfour demonstrations and campaigns against the judicial reform. This grassroots activism will be an important tool for responding to electoral malfeasance.
Their media wing leads high-impact campaigns that shape national discourse and mobilize public action and will continue to do so during this critical year.

The Movement for Quality Government in Israel is a non-partisan, independent, and not-for-profit organization that has been leading the fight for democracy, justice, and good governance for 36 years. Since its founding in 1990, MQG has worked to uphold transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in Israeli public life.
